I’m think I’m beginning to have a mid-life crisis over my style.
After reading so many blogs I have decided that I need to have a style that I can call my own. Problem is— how do make a decision?
I like old vintage - 1900’s- pretty soft feminine-
and vintage 50’s. - b right and bold. Both styles are so different- can I have both as my style?
When you do those decorating style test do you answer what you can afford or what you truly love? Which do you prefer vintage 50’s or early 1900’s?

4 nice things to say:
I feel you hear. I have so many decorating styles that I love...including early 1900s and 1950s...so I cannot make a choice between the two. One thing you could do, is designate a room 1950s or another early 1900s...but really, for me, it comes down to this...I decorate with stuff that I love, that makes me smile ;) :) Happy New Year to you and your family. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather ;)
I agree why do you have to chose? use what makes you happy.

Cindy! Hi, I am following your blog now, too! I know what you mean about a decorating crises. I have always had very eclectic taste, but there is a way to pull all that you love together. Yes, It can be done with special groupings, themed by color, character, or whatever. Just make sure that it makes you smile. If it breaks the bank, and stresses you out on affordability, then I would say, rethink it. It has to make you truly happy. If you really want it, then try to save for it. Just put together whatever you love, and that is the best thing. It is then YOUR decorating style. That is the key!
Blessings and Happy New Year!
